Indra Quagliata, DDS
Inspired and passionate to become a dentist
Dr. Indra Quagliata fell in love with dentistry at the age of 13 when she had the opportunity to observe her hometown dentist. Since Dr. Quagliata enjoys science and art, dentistry just seemed to be the natural fit to combine research-based knowledge with craftsmanship.
The greatest satisfaction Dr. Quagliata receives each day is the knowledge that she has helped her patients achieve their oral health goals and brighten their smiles.
Since Dr. Quagliata has experienced many restorative and cosmetic dental procedures herself, it makes it easier for her to relate and emphasize with what her patients go through, which is why she understands how gentle, quality dentistry should be done.
Advanced training and experience to serve our community
Dr. Quagliata is a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She has completed her Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center as well as her General Practice Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. She has been practicing dentistry for over ten years. Before coming to the United States, Dr. Quagliata practiced dentistry in Latvia.
A strong believer in continuing education, Dr. Quagliata has completed numerous postgraduate dental courses to keep her knowledge up to date. She received the National Award for Excellence from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Quagliata is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and Seventh District Dental Society of NY.
Finding balance between family and hobbies
It may be hard to believe, but dentistry is not only Dr. Quagliata’s profession, but her favorite hobby. It is always so exciting to learn new dental techniques or procedures and find better ways to take care of patients.
When Dr. Quagliata is not a dentist, she loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Jason, their daughter, Stella, and their silver lab, Coby. They prefer simple things as long as they are together, like going for a walk, cooking, and traveling.
To maintain her sanity and physical fitness, Dr. Quagliata enjoys long runs, yoga, and maintaining healthy nutrition.
